You pay the walker's listed hourly rate plus a 5% service fee added at checkout. There are no subscriptions or hidden charges. Walker rates typically range from £12 to £30 per hour depending on experience, services, and area.

🏡 Boarding and Day Care — commercial home boarding requires a council licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. Walkers offering these services must hold a valid licence, which is verified by Barkevo before the service appears on their profile.
For walkers
Barkevo charges a 15% platform fee on each completed booking. This covers payment processing, platform costs, and customer support. There are no sign-up fees, monthly charges, or hidden deductions.
Example: if you charge £20/hr for a 2-hour walk (£40 total), Barkevo retains £6.00 and you receive £34.00.
