Our team reviews your application within 48 hours. Approved walkers are set up with 0% fees and the Founder badge.
Walk and earn 100%
Accept bookings, walk dogs, get paid. For 6 months you keep every pound you earn — no platform cut.
Get your DBS funded
After walk 3 we email a voucher for a free basic DBS check. Upload it and the DBS badge goes live on your profile.

How long does the 0% fee last?
Six months from the date we activate your Founder status. After that, the standard 15% platform fee applies automatically. You'll get an email 30 days before it changes.
How many Founder spots are there?
We're accepting the first 50 walkers across London. Once those spots are filled, the programme closes and new walkers join at the standard rate.
Is the Founder badge permanent?
Yes. Even after the 0% fee period ends, the Founder badge stays on your profile. It marks you as one of the people who helped build Barkevo from day one.
Do I need a DBS before I start?
No. You can take bookings immediately. The DBS badge appears once you upload a certificate — we fund the check after your 3rd walk. Many owners are happy to book walkers without it for early sessions.
What areas are covered?
London only for now. You set a primary area and up to 3 additional boroughs you cover. The more areas you list, the more booking requests you'll receive.
What's the catch?
There isn't one. We want great walkers on the platform before we push marketing to owners. Making the early months profitable for you is how we make that happen. After 6 months you're on the standard rate — still 15%, still less than Rover.
