How do I book a dog walker?

Search for walkers in your area, visit a walker's profile, pick an available time slot, and complete payment. You'll receive a confirmation immediately.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booking are fully refunded. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee at the walker's discretion.

How do I know the walker is trustworthy?

Look for the DBS badge — walkers with it have passed an enhanced background check. You can also read verified reviews from previous clients.

What if my walker doesn't show up?

Contact us immediately at support@barkevo.com. You will receive a full refund and we'll help you find an alternative walker as quickly as possible.

How does GPS tracking work?

Once a confirmed walk starts, the walker shares their live location. You'll see it on a map inside the booking chat. Tracking stops when the walk ends.

When does the walker get paid?

Payment is released to the walker within 2 business days of the walk being marked complete. Funds are held securely by Stripe until then.

How do I become a walker?

Sign up, choose the "Walker" role, fill in your profile, and set your availability. See our Become a walker page for full details.
